Biography:
Alina Zbaranskaya is a third-year BSc student of Medical Chemistry at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland. Her research interests focus on polysaccharide-based biomaterials and natural bioactive compounds for advanced wound healing applications. She works on the extraction and biological evaluation of plant-derived compounds, including antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity, for incorporation into biocompatible wound dressings crosslinked with dialdehyde inulin. She has presented her work at national and international conferences, received research funding, and completed internships in both academic and industrial R&D environments, including Noctiluca S.A. and Erasmus+ training at the University of Aveiro.
