Biography:
Dr. Tasadaque is an Associate Professor in the Department of Education at Sukkur IBA University, with over 25 years of experience as a teacher, researcher, and administrator. He specializes in synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry and is known for his strong problem-solving skills in education.
He earned his MSc from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, and was awarded a DAAD Scholarship in 2000 to pursue his PhD at the University of Tuebingen, Germany, where he graduated in 2003 with Magna Cum Laude under Prof. Wolfgang Voelter.
Dr. Tasadaque completed postdoctoral research at University College Dublin and later worked for several years at Trinity College Dublin. He has authored and co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications, including papers in leading journals such as Nature, Science, and Cell Metabolism, with a high citation impact.
His research contributions include developing methods for peptide aldehyde libraries used in discovering inhibitors for SARS coronavirus protease. He also contributed to the landmark study on the Beta-2 adrenergic receptor-Gs protein complex, which played a role in the 2012 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. His work has been internationally recognized, including acknowledgment in a Nobel Prize lecture.
