Biography:
I received a Dr. (phil.) in Chemistry at the University of Vienna in 1979. In 1975 I started work as Chemical-technical expert at the Federal Ministry for Health and Environmental Protection and started to establish the Background Air Quality Monitoring Network in Austria. I was i.a. affiliated to the Umweltbundesamt of Austria from 1985 until 2014. Since 1976 I have been engaged in standardization at the national level and in various Working Groups of ISO/TC207/SC7. I was also representative of Austria in other international fora related to Climate Change issues (UNFCCC: COP, COP/MOP, SBSTA, SBI; AIXG of OECD; IPCC).
