Biography:
Dr. K. Pandiarajan was born on August 24, 1949 in Virudhunagar. He completed his M.Sc. degree in VHNSN College at Virudhunagar in 1970. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Annamalai University by submitting a thesis entitled “Conformational study of heterocyclic compounds using dipole moments”. He continued his research on conformational analysis using NMR spectroscopy. He has produced 16 Ph.Ds and
25 M.Phils. He has collaborated in several Ph.D. theses of his colleagues. He has about 80 publications in various national and international journals. He has also written a book chapter on the uses of hydrogen peroxide as a synthetic reagent. He has worked as a post-doctoral fellow with Prof. H.C. Brown, a Nobel Laureatte in US. His work has been published in JACS.
