Biography:
Jana Stanicova has received her PhD. in Biophysics, specializing in Molecular Biophysics and Chemical Physics, at Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. Her post-doctoral study was realized at University of Texas, San Antonio Health Science Centrum, USA where she has been working in Biochemistry Department on the research dealing with a relationship between structure and function of cytochrome-c-oxidase enzyme. Her academic carrier is associated with Medical Biophysics at First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic where she works in an associate professor position. Recently, her research interest is focused on an investigation of the interaction of the ligands such as agents, or pesticides with bio-macromolecules on the molecular revel.
