Haibo Ge

Biography:

Haibo Ge received his PhD degree in Medicinal Chemistry from The University of Kansas in 2006, and then moved to The Scripps Research Institute for postdoctoral study. In 2009, he began his independent academic career at the Indiana University – Purdue University Indianapolis and relocated to Texas Tech University in 2020. Research by his group is mainly focused on the development of novel methods for carbon–carbon and carbon–heteroatom bond formation through transition metal catalyzed C–H functionalization. His research focuses on transition metal catalyzed cross coupling reactions. He has published more than 80 articles in leading journals, including Nature Chemistry, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Chem, and Angewandte Chemie International Edition.
