Biography:
Dr. Alexandrina Nan is a researcher at INCDTIM Cluj-Napoca, specializing in organic synthesis, polymer science, and nanostructured materials. She holds Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhDs from Babeș-Bolyai University, where she pioneered the use of NMR and mass spectrometry for analyzing heterocyclic compounds. Dr. Nan’s work has advanced the synthesis and characterization of conductive polymers, recyclable magnetic organocatalysts, and biodegradable materials from renewable resources. Her current research focuses on developing new polymers and polymeric materials for heat dissipation, which is important for the functionality, reliability, and lifetime of modern electronic devices.
